In keep­ing with our tra­di­tion of con­tin­u­ous tests and tweaks to boost the per­for­mance of our web­sites, we’ve iStock_000001432707Small dis­cov­ered a very sim­ple type of email that works well for email marketing.

You just need one main pow­er­ful ingre­di­ent to make it work well — tes­ti­mo­ni­als.

That’s right.

Tes­ti­mo­ni­als sell. The more you have, the bet­ter. Plus, they do boost con­ver­sion rates on websites.

So, we thought, what the heck, let’s lit­er­ally put some tes­ti­mo­ni­als in our emails and see how that goes.

Build­ing Your Email from Testimonials

    Inter­est­ing arti­cle which high­lights how tes­ti­mo­ni­als are under-used by sim­ply pub­lish­ing it on a web­site page to gather dust. It should be your ini­tia­tive to ask the client for a tes­ti­mo­nial and make sure you get per­mis­sion to include their name. A tes­ti­mo­nial from X com­pany is worth a thou­sand, but a tes­ti­mo­nial with a name and com­pany is price­less, It adds authen­tic­ity to the tes­ti­mo­nial where a poten­tial client could take ini­tia­tive and con­tact the per­son for some form of accountability.
