How to start mas­ter­ing Google AdWords

Every online mar­keter wants know how to start mas­ter­ing Google AdWords.  How­ever, very few actu­ally know what it takes.  We have been mas­ter­ing Google AdWords for a long time and have iden­ti­fied two key secrets that we are about to share.

Once you know these secrets, you too can start mas­ter­ing Google AdWords too.

The first secret to mas­ter­ing Google AdWords is:  You need a world class process and a win­ning system

Here are four cri­te­ria you can use to judge if you have a win­ning system!

  • It orga­nizes what you need to do in an orderly, sim­ple process.
  • It increases your prof­its, and cuts back on your AdWords spending.
  • You spend way less time on AdWords! The time-consuming tasks are automated.
  • THE SYSTEM CAN BE APPLIED IN ANY ONLINE MARKET NICHE!

If you don’t know what a win­ning sys­tem looks like, don’t try to fake it because you will be crushed by the Google AdWords adver­tis­ers that have already started mas­ter­ing Google AdWords because they have a win­ning sys­tem in place.

The sec­ond secret to mas­ter­ing Google AdWords is:  Test every­thing and never stop testing

I am shocked at how few Google AdWords Adver­tis­ers actu­ally test their Google AdWords cam­paigns, ad groups, and ad copy.  Here is one exam­ple of a recent Google AdWords test.  We tested the fol­low­ing two ads below.

In one ad we had a more descrip­tive head­line vs. a head­line that only con­tained the key­word phrase that we tar­get­ing (ebook cov­ers).  How­ever, this cam­paign was pri­mar­ily for “con­tent ads” so these ads are sur­faced on blogs and other web­sites.  I was pretty sure that the desrip­tive ad would do far bet­ter because it pro­vided more information.

How­ever, our tests revealed the opposite.

What is the les­son?  If you want to start mas­ter­ing Google AdWords, get a win­ning AdWords Sys­tem and then test everything.
