Blogging from the Strategic Profits Seminar
February 25th, 2008 by Vishen Lakhiani Read more about ArticlesI’m writing this post from Orlando, Florida.
Or specifically, DisneyWorld. I’m surrounded by kids wearing mickey mouse hats, really happy toddlers, really tired parents and a bunch of Internet Marketers.
I’ll be blogging daily to share a key idea or insight I gained from each day here.

But I barely made it here.
My flight from Manchester ran into a bit of difficulty. The kind that makes you curl like a baby on your seat and almost pee in your pants.
An hour after taking off the pilot announced that his “hydraulic brakes” had stopped working. We had to dump all fuel over farm country in England, make a big u-turn and attempt to land back in Manchester.
The plane came down at a ridiculous speed, blowing both tires and we finally touched the runway to be greeted by fire trucks and emergency workers. Manchester airport was closed for the next 2 hrs.
But I got some nice pics!
The Chicago Tribune had the full story.
I stayed overnight in Manchester, but sadly missed the first half of the first day of the event.
I still managed to catch the last bit of Mike Filsaime’s session though, and will blog about some insights in the next post.
Stay tuned. I’ll be sharing a key insight for each of the 6 days I’m here.

Wow! What an experience!
While it’s awful when you go through it, it’ll enthrall the grandkids years from now.
Glad you survived.

Wholly sh*t Vish!
Guess it puts things in perspective —
Of the whole conference, I bet the flight was the most life-changing —
I wonder if that was part of their program! Kind of like “The Game” with Michael Douglas —
Glad you made it man!
