Any­one that is adver­tis­ing via Google’s con­tent net­work needs to study the Place­ment Reports. 

What are Place­ment Reports?

The Place­ment Reports allow Google AdWords user to see detailed sta­tis­tics such as clicks, impres­sions, costs, and con­ver­sion by URL and domain of ads appear­ing via Google’s con­tent net­work (AdSense). 

Who should use Place­ment Reports?

Every Google AdWords users should adver­tise via Google’s con­tent net­work and now that this tool is avail­able that means that every Google AdWords user should take advan­tage of the infor­ma­tion that is available.

How to use the Place­ment Reports?

Place­ment reports allow you to see which sites (URLS  / domains) are work­ing for you on Google’s con­tent net­work.  This infor­ma­tion has never been avail­able before and now that every AdWords user can get access to it it enables you to do two things:

1) Use the site tar­get­ing fea­ture to get more expo­sure from the sites that are work­ing well for you

2) Use the site exclu­sion tool to ban sites that are not deliv­er­ing prof­itable traffic

3) You can finally see which sites ae the goril­las in your cat­e­gory that are deliv­er­ing the major­ity of impressions.
