Vishen,
This is a remarkable posting. Perception has patterns and we need to understand the patterns of our customers. But these patterns are sensitive to small changes. Any small perturbation will influence the resulting pattern. So, are we talking about the probability of understanding the customer perception for it will be almost impossible to pinpoint his perceptions?
I congratulate you on such an illuminating article

Very cool story, Vishen. As a Persuasive Master in Internet Marketing with a Bachelors in Mathematics, this really made my day. Thanks to @emailcopywriter for sharing.

"so basically you are telling us that we need to understand our target audience - wow deep…."

No, I did not say that we need to understand our target audience.Whether you want to understand them or not is your choice. What is being explained is what it means understanding our target audience.

Zsolt,"If God can..." conundrum illustrates the limits of logic, and in this case language. And the perception is the assumption that the conundrum can be solved within the framework of the knowledge in which it is formulated. The change in perception is that one has to come out of the semantics of language to see that it is actually not a conundrum at all but a basic flaw of language.

Thanks for your feedback.

Great post. Good to see someone go to the core of things, even though the outcome may seem simple if you translate it to business terms. Just a question: how does perception help solve the "if God can do anything, can He create a stone which He Himself cannot roll" dilemma?
