150% More Traffic and 133% More Sales From A Few Tweaks. You Can’t Be Serious… Can You?
May 26th, 2008 by Mike W. Read more about Website OptimizationWe just posted a free case-study video showing exactly how we helped a client score 150% more traffic and 133% more conversions.
It's almost exactly 16 minutes and depicts exactly what this entrepreneur did to her crazy niche site... which is "EMF Protection Equipment." You'll see "before" and "after" pics as well as hear from the site owner herself about what she did.
I'm not exactly sure what EMF Protection Equipment is, but if you watch the video you'll get a sneak peak of our new (unpublicized thus far) web business system we're calling your "Website DNA." More to come soon, but these results are showing to be quite typical for sites following our system.
Check out that video and then share your thoughts in the comments. We'll try to clear up any lingering questions you might have. How does your site compare to hers? Do you use your side bar the way she does (the right way)? Do you fall for the "that won't work for my site with many products" trap? Let us know in the comments.

I tried to watch this video tonight, but it was terribly slow! After waiting 12 minutes on my fiber connection (and watching 4 other videos on your site) I had only been able to watch the first minute...
I might try again tomorrow...
The file is only around 100mb total, so it isn't terribly large. Perhaps there were some problems in the pipes, but I've checked everything and it's loading fine for me (and I'm not on a special net connection or anything).
Hopefully if you try it again it should be ok for you.
Guys,
The audio in the video is horrible!
I can't even continue watching it anymore, it's unbearable.
I hope you could restore the audio in some sort of way.
Yes, I did manage to see it all appr. 15 minutes after my first attempt... Thanks for a great site!
All good so far. I am about to launch a new web business, but will follow the DNA plan first - it will save both time and money if it works well!
Advice to those wanting to watch this - I downloaded it so that I can watch it again on my ipod.

Great advice! From now on I'll pay more attention to my internal navigation links.
hey, i just found your site recently and i love how you guys consistently pump out noteworthy articles day after day.
I tried watching the video on different browsers (ie and mozilla) and I cant seem to get a clear voice audio.. every few seconds it pauses or stutters for a half second and its really distracting. Would u guys happen to have this message on a recording? maybe as an mp3 or an on air audio streaming?
Hi, I just reviewed the video for EMF Blues and wow! I know I can use the sidebar optimization right away. It makes sense. I kept thinking about how I could incrase my traffic and of course conversion. I'm good with content, but have been struggling with all this other SEO stuff.
Never would have thought of it. Also I like the fact that you had EMF focus on educating the visitor on their products. That's sweet - as well as helping the visitor make a decision based upon what's right for them. They took the guess work out of the purchase process and gave the visitor control.
Thanks for sharing this case study. (I got a lot of work to do.)
